![]() The Actiontec wiring layout specified I needed a splitter, so i got one of those. The Motorola moca adapters were sold out so i got one Actiontec ECB625. GIven the house is a bit bigger, I got a TPLink 1900 router. But so far my efforts haven't worked.ĭC Setup used a TPLink 1750 router and a motorola MM100 MoCa 2.0 adapter. Granted my parents are in a house and i was in an apartment, but i figured the principle would be the same. To remedy the situation, I had more or less planned to copy my setup from DC. I don't hold out much hope we'll get a better one if we can convince them to ship us another one. We fought hard to get them to replace it, and when they did they sent an even older one. The Wifi with the stock gateway is terrible. My parents are in southern california and also have FiOS (they've had it since it was verizon, obviously its Frontier now).
